Delete your data
Last updated: 23 August 2026
You can delete your Kalinda account and all the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
From the app (immediate)
Open Kalinda and go to Settings → Delete account. We ask you to confirm twice, because deletion is immediate, permanent and cannot be undone.
As soon as you confirm, your account and your entire history are gone from our servers. There is no grace period and no backup we can restore afterwards.
By email
If you no longer have access to the app, email hola@kalinda.app with the subject "Delete my data", from the same address you use with Kalinda, so we can verify the request is yours. We will delete your account within 30 days at most and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your profile: age, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal.
- All your food logs, with their calories and macronutrients.
- Your weight, water and intermittent fasting records.
- Your saved foods and meal templates.
- Data imported from Health Connect or Apple Health, if you used syncing.
- Your subscription information inside the app.
What does not
We keep nothing of yours after deletion, unless the law requires us to retain a specific record — payment receipts for tax purposes, for example — and then only for the minimum period required.
Two things are outside our reach: data Kalinda wrote into Health Connect or Apple Health stays in those apps and you should delete it there if you want it gone; and your subscription is managed by Google Play or the App Store, so remember to cancel it from your store account so it doesn't renew.
Deleting only part of it
If you only want to remove one record — a meal, a weigh-in, a glass of water — you can do that inside the app from each section's history, without deleting your account.
