These terms govern your use of the Kalinda app, developed by Yordano González Fernández. By creating an account and using the app, you accept what is described here.
What Kalinda is
Kalinda is a tool for logging meals, calories, macronutrients, water, weight and intermittent fasting, and for seeing how those change over time. It is offered as is — built to work well and to keep improving, but without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
This is not medical advice. Kalinda does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and does not replace a doctor, a registered dietitian or any other health professional. The calories and macros it calculates are estimates based on general formulas, and photo recognition of meals is approximate. Talk to a professional before changing your diet — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, still growing, or living with diabetes, an eating disorder or any other health condition.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older. The data you enter should be yours and accurate — otherwise the calculations are of no use to you.
Subscriptions and payment
The core features are free. Kalinda Premium is purchased inside the app as a monthly or yearly subscription, and payment is handled by Google Play or the App Store depending on your device — never by us. We do not see or store your payment details.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
- You can cancel at any time from the subscription settings of your Google Play or App Store account. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds follow Google's and Apple's policies, since they process the payment. If something has gone wrong, write to us and we will help you sort it out.
- If prices change, we will tell you before the change affects you.
Acceptable use
Please do not try to access other people's accounts, reverse-engineer the app or its services, automate bulk requests against our infrastructure, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
Your data and content
What you log in Kalinda is yours. We host it so we can show it on your devices and calculate your progress. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. You can delete your account and your whole history from Settings at any time.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, its design and its code belong to their author. Using it does not transfer any rights in them to you beyond a personal, non-transferable licence to use it.
Limitation of liability
Kalinda is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app, nor for decisions about your diet or health that you make based on its estimates. None of this limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email. You can stop using Kalinda whenever you like by deleting your account. We may close an account that breaches these terms, giving you notice unless the law prevents it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
